The Company

Established in 1970, Designers Guild has grown to employ over 280 people and operate in 60 countries worldwide. Designers Guild continues to design and wholesale furnishing, fabrics, wall coverings, upholstery and bed and bath collections.

The Challenge

Designers Guild has an established eCommerce site with a strong flow of visitors however they wanted to be able to engage with visitors at all stages of the conversion funnel, enabling them to maximise conversions and offer exceptional service in keeping with their retail vision.

The Solution

After considering a number of solutions, Designers Guild appointed Sub2 to develop an email retargeting programme using the 2Prompt product. This programme allowed Designers Guild to re-engage with visitors who had abandoned their visit after browsing products, categories or after placing items in their basket. Re-engagement emails were sent to abandoned site visitors with offers of help, buying suggestions and advice, driving them back to the Designers Guild website to continue shopping and complete their purchase.

The Results

After the initial trial period the campaign is delivering an ROI of 14:1 and is currently being refined to further improve this.

I am always a little sceptical when companies tell us that the integration is going to be “quick, easy and painless”, over the years we have done quite a few and rarely have I found that to be the case.  Sub2 really stood out from the crowd, their documentation was informative and comprehensive and their project team was very knowledgeable and responsive which enabled us to have the solution up and running in record time.  We’re now just over 2 weeks in and we’re already extremely pleased with the results.
