Silver by Mail designs and creates the finest quality silver jewellery which is sold via their established mail order catalogue and via their eCommerce site.

The Challenge

Silver by Mail had strong visitor numbers, however they wanted to optimise the browsing experience for these customers in order to increase conversions from both new visitors and those who had visited the site multiple times. Additionally, Silver by Mail wanted to develop ongoing communications with this audience to maximise conversions and customer lifetime value, so they needed to engage with and capture details for this valuable audience.

The Solution

Silver by Mail used Sub2’s onsite personalisation tool 2Shop to display personalised content in the form of messages, creative and offers based on a visitors browsing behaviour. Media codes allowed Silver by Mail to track the performance of the personalised content and offers, allowing the campaign to be measured on a granular level and refined over time. Having engaged this audience with personalised content and offers, visitors were encouraged to provide their details to receive exclusive content and offers.

The Results

The campaign has delivered an impressive 9% increase in conversion of and an offer redemption of 20%. In addition, Silver by Mail are now capturing 2.2% of all new site visitors giving them a valuable audience to target in the future.
